After surviving the trenches of complex litigation for over 40 years, I have decided to draw on my experiences as a trial lawyer and write novels about the dark side of our justice system. They are intended to be both entertaining and to educate readers on how our justice system works.
I am now semi-retired and serve as "Of Counsel" to my former law firm where I continue to advise many long time clients. I also try to help other attorneys settle complex cases through mediation. For those who would like to know more about my legal background and litigation experience, please go to www.lhinesmediation.com.
And my pride and joy is helping young orphaned children from the slums of Nairobi, Kenya to break the cycle of poverty by sponsoring them into selected private boarding schools. For those who are interested and may want to help financially, please go to our website at www.nadinegriffeyacademy.com. The Academy is named after my late wife who was a master teacher.
